The Tahquamenon Falls State Park has over 50,000 acres of flawless Northern Michigan scenery that can be enjoyed throughout every season of the year. Blue jays, warblers, kingfishers, beaver, river otter, and more have been spotted near the river! In addition, growth analysis showed that 95% were young-of-the-year, rather than yearlings from the stocking project. Trout were growing slowly, at 1.2 in slower than the state average.
